Grappa La Corte earns “Made for Recycling” seal
Distillerie Franciacorta’s Grappa La Corte has been granted the “Made for Recycling” seal of approval from Interseroh.
Grappa La Corte has joined Stock Spirits' other brands – Amundsen Expedition and Zoladkowa de Luxe – in gaining the highly sought after "Made for Recycling" seal, awarded by Interseroh.
Only granted to packaging that achieves a total score of 18-20 out of a possible 20 points, products are tested according to scientific standards developed by Interseroh in conjunction with the BIFA environmental institute and reviewed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV.
The packaging for Grappa La Corte received a total score of 19 out of 20 points. We only lost one point in area 3, "Suitability for mechanical recycling and provision of secondary products", due to the label and cap being left on the bottle after consumption.
Stock Spirits recognise the importance of recycling for easing the burden on the climate and the planet's resources, and we are working on the development and implementation of sustainable solutions every day. As we continue efforts to optimise our packaging for recycling, receiving the "Made for Recycling" seal of approval provides us with tangible proof that we are on the right track in terms of our goal to continually improve the sustainability of our business and products.
